Order Process
What Happens After I Submit My Order via the Orobela Website?
When you place an order, a credit card authorization hold is applied for the full purchase amount. This confirms that your card is valid and has sufficient funds. Funds are held but not captured until production is complete or your order is ready to ship, typically within 7 days.
Some pieces, especially custom or artisanal items, may require 2–3 weeks to produce before shipping.
How Long Does a Credit Card Authorization Last?
Credit card authorizations can last up to 7 days. If the payment is not captured within this period, the authorization becomes void and funds are released back to your account, usually within 3–5 business days depending on your bank.
Verification and Fraud Prevention
All orders undergo verification to prevent fraud. Certain orders, particularly high-value purchases, may require additional verification, such as confirmation of billing information or proof of identity. In rare cases, additional documentation may be requested.
These measures help ensure the security of your payment and protect both the customer and Orobela from unauthorized transactions.
How Long Will It Take to Receive My Order?
We aim to ship orders promptly. Standard production time is 2–3 weeks for most artisanal jewelry. For urgent requests or specific dates, please add a note at checkout or contact our customer service team.
Standard Order Cancellation Policy
You may request to cancel your order and receive a full refund unless production has begun or the order has shipped. Restocking or shipping fees may apply.
To cancel, email [email protected] with the subject line:
“Cancel my order #[Order #]”
Exclusions: Custom and layaway orders cannot be canceled once production has started.
